Schmoodles 16 Weeks

Here are a couple of photos Scoot took to document the growth of the Schmoodles at 16 weeks. I started to feel "gas bubble" kicks from the little one just a few days later. :)

Knitapalooza 2009

These few pictures are evidence of the precious few moments I was willing to drag myself away from the yarn shopping, pontoon knitting, and all around awesome time with the girls to document all the fun. It was a fantastic weekend complete with personalized drink coozies, drink cups with strobe lights, and chocolate shot glasses filled with milk! Thanks ladies, this trip rocked!

Schmoodles 12 Weeks

Stacey Visits the Schmoodles

Stacey came to visit the Schmoodles over Memorial Day this year. Although we spent most of the week trying to strongarm Stacey into moving here for good, I still think she managed to have some fun. :) Tee hee hee.

We spent sometime in downtown Geneva, did some shopping on the Miracle Mile and Lincoln Park, and checked out the miniatures at the Art Insititute of Chicago. We had dinner at the Berghoff, our favorite historic German restaurant in downtown Chicago, and took in some local Blues bands at Blue Chicago.

We familiarized ourselves with the city by boat on an architecture tour given by the Chicago Architecture Insititute. We lucked out with the weather, and it was a very cool way to see the city! Chicago Architecture Tour

We also took in the sights on the "Untouchables" Gangster Bus Tour of Chicago. Despite the initial cheese factor there was very interesting, occasionally gory history to be had along the way. Overall we had a blast! Maybe next time we'll manage to convince Stacey that Chicago is "her kind of town". :)
